Niamh is a BAMT and HCPC registered Music Psychotherapist. Her professional experience includes Adult Mental health, Elderly Dementia Care, and Children with complex needs and trauma. Niamh is dedicated to providing exceptional care in line with best standard practice, and devising creative and effective care plans for all clients. She has a client-led approach, tailoring sessions to the individual’s strengths, needs, and abilities. She believes in offering a safe, non-judgemental, and confidential therapeutic space where the client has the opportunity to build upon their personal-awareness, meet their best potential and explore their creativity and expression. Sessions may be just talking, or they can be an integration of music and counselling, depending on what route the client would like to take. Clients do not need to have any musical experience if they would also like to use music as a means for expression and exploration during sessions.
